About UsVamaro Kennels was started in 1979 with my Mom and I , we innocently thought" wouldn't it be fun to show a dog in conformation! "I had previously been showing in obedience trails with a Great Dane who thought he was a small lap dog. So here we go enjoying traveling, meeting other dog lovers . After purchasing our first show bitch , Killee's Kitoo , she trained us well !
As we continued to show , we started breeding and have over 25 champions to our credit. Sadly my Mom passed away several years ago and I have slowed down traveling. I still show in the conformation ring but also have returned to the obedience ring and added Rally . It proves to say Silkies are beautiful and intelligent |
